Operation Valentine is the name of the British invasion of the Faroe Islands, which took place on April 11 th in 1940. In 2015, Det Ferösche Compagnie put together a new performance to highlight the 75th anniversary of the invasion. The intention was to give an artistic interpretation of the influence that the British invasion had on Faroese culture.
